“An Athlete’s Journey from Intensive Care to The Top of The Mountains”.
In 2021 I worked with the awesome David Smith MBE, on a short film about his achievements and battles with cancer and a spinal cord injury. We are currently looking for funding to make this into a bigger piece, as David recovers once again from major surgery.
David had, at that time been through no less than six major surgeries on a spinal cord tumour, been paralyzed, but despite all the major setbacks, he continues to amaze and inspire the World. Twice World Champion and Paralympic Gold Medal winner in rowing, then transitioned to cycling, where he represented Team GB in World Championships. He has cycled some of the toughest mountains in Europe and continues to show everyone that a positive mindset can help us overcome much of life’s difficulties.
